Since gaining a professional product owner certification in 2013, I have been practising as a product manager and product owner. My skills as a business analyst strongly compliment the product manager role, as I am able to effectively elicit and analyse requirements, and organise them in a product backlog for Agile product delivery.
In all my projects as a product owner, I have been solely responsible for creating and managing the product backlog, representing the customer for the tech teams. When working as a product manager, I have been additionally responsible for the product roadmap in my domain, slicing and prioritising work based on objectives and value. Working with customer stakeholders of all levels and the engineering teams are a part of my every day to get the most out of the solution in order to delight the end customer.
